Doctor of Medicine (MD) / Master of Surgery (MS):
The period of training for obtaining these degree courses shall be three completed years including the period of examination; provided that in the case of students having a recognized two year diploma course in the same subject, the period of training, including the period of examination, shall be two years. However, the fee payable in this case would be equivalent to three years’ tuition fees, to be paid in equal installments as may be mutually agreed upon.
The MCI-recognised degree courses are available in Anaesthesiology, ENT, Community Medicine, Paediatrics, Orthopaedics, Obstetric & Gynaecology, Pathology, and Ophthalmology
The period of training for obtaining postgraduate diploma shall be two completed years including the examination period. The recognised diploma courses are available in Anaesthesiology, ENT, Public Health, Radiology, Paediatrics, Orthopaedics, Obstetric & Gynaecology, Pathology, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, V&L and Tuberculosis & Respiratory Medicine.
