Outreach Centres

The Mandal's long-held belief to take modern health care  as close to the community as possible has led to two approaches; on the one hand it operates three extension centres, at Anand, Petlad and Vitthal Udyognagar in addition to its rural centre at Ardi, where out-patients services by the hospital's staff and consultants are made available, while on the other, the hospital regularly holds multi-diagnostic camps.

The total number of patients examined at the three outreach centres of the Mandal were 19595 during the year2006-07. In addition, at the ten multi-diagnostic camps held at various locations, over 4,500 patients were examined
