Shree Krishna Hospital organises healthy heart walkathon Shree Krishna Hospital, Karamsad has organised a walkathon on Sunday, 8th October for the third consecutive year. It is an event to create awareness amongst public about heart disease and adopting a healthy life style and to celebrate the 9th anniversary of the setting up the Bhanubhai Madhuben Patel Cardiac Centre of Shree Krishna Hospital. Last year the centre has seen 8000 patients on outdoor basis, conducted 237 adult surgeries and 192 pediatric surgeries in addition to 748 cath procedures. 

The walkathon will be flagged off by Mr. Prayaswin Patel, the Chairman and Managing Director of Elecon Company in the presence of Dr. Amrita Patel, Chairman of Charutar Arogya Mandal and Mr, Jagrut Bhatt, the Secretary of the Charutar Arogya Mandal and other prominent dignitaries. It will commence at 7.00 am from H M Patel Statue, Nalini Arvind & T. V. Patel Arts College, Vallabh Vidya Nagar and end at the town hall. Like every year the event will have garnering enormous enthusiasm and support from the community with the large number of participation. It is expected to have participation of patients treated earlier with heart condition and is intended to strengthen the fact that a heart patient is as fit to lead a normal life as anyone else. It is also expected to bring home the message of prevention being better than cure through healthy lifestyle.
