Research

Research has been identied as a thrust area by Charutar Arogya Mandal right from its inception. The Central Research Services (CRS) were established in April 2009 to foster pertinent and methodical research in our institutions. Since then the CRS has expanded in leaps and bounds.

CRS focusses on the following areas:

  • Teaching (empowering people in research methods and biostatistics)
  • Epidemiological research
  • Community oriented primary care

CRS started the journey silently but because of the hard work and persistent efforts, its credibility as a ‘Sincere’, ‘Authentic’ and ‘Honest’ research organisation is well-established. Because of this credibility it has been recognised as a Scientific & Industrial Research Organisation (SIRO) by the Government of India. CRS also collaborates with organisations of international repute like Indian Immunologicals Ltd, Johns Hopkins University, Boston University, European Union, etc to strengthen public health and extension programmes activities to provide simple and feasible solutions to complex health problems. Recently an industry-funded Nutritional Clinical Trail developed and conducted entirely by our own investigators.
